Split tone landscape – Lightroom tutorial

In January 2010 I visited Hamledon Hill ancient hill fort in Dorset in the UK.  It was an eerie and moody dawn; the photography was tricky for two reasons: Firstly, the anticipated colourful dawn turned grey and foggy as a hill fog appeared.  Secondly, the filters I was using kept fogging up with freezing fog.  But, it was a memorable and magical morning in this ancient place.

When I recently published the picture on Facebook, a friend commented, “can you teach me to do that?”  This video, on my DSLR Life YouTube channel is an attempt to explain how it was composed and processed.  I hope you enjoy.
